Stephanie HeartSong, is the founder of SoundPlay Works™, a certified Ontario educator, and a sound medicine practitioner dedicated to transforming learning environments through the power of sound, presence, and resonance. She facilitates Resonant Learning Sessions in both school and corporate settings, artfully weaving together pedagogy, vibrational renewal, and creative exploration. Stephanie also offers personalized coaching sessions that integrate reflective dialogue, energy awareness techniques, and the use of high-frequency acoustic instruments and soulful vocalizations. Her approach supports emotional regulation, mental clarity, and a deeper sense of self-connection, grounded in both evidence-informed methods and intuitive insight. With over 25 years of experience as a Usui Reiki Master, yoga and meditation teacher, and holistic educator, Stephanie mentors both youth and adults in the art of SoundPlay, a path of personal growth, nervous system regulation, and reconnection with our authentic self. Her vision is to empower individuals and communities through sound, cultivating emotionally safe, inclusive spaces where learning and restoration vibrate in harmony.

Marta Golden is devoted to guiding others on their journey of self-discovery and alignment. A certified practitioner of sound therapy, breathwork, Reiki, and coaching, she brings a grounded yet intuitive approach to healing and transformation. Marta seamlessly blends these modalities with nearly 30 years of experience in the global corporate world, where she has designed and led impactful leadership development programs and change across cultures and countries. Whether she’s facilitating a leadership team-building retreat or holding space in a ceremonial sound healing circle, Marta’s work is rooted in awakening presence, deepening inner awareness, and creating meaningful connection—within and with others.
Educator
Wende Tulk is a dynamic educator, soundplayer, and founder of FemPowerSource, dedicated to cultivating strength, resilience, and empowerment through drumming rhythms and mindful learning. A certified teacher with the Ontario College of Teachers, Wende brings over 30 years of experience teaching high school and special needs students, including youth with autism, Down syndrome, ADHD, and ODD. Her 12-year tenure teaching Inuit youth in Nunavut deeply shaped her inclusive, culturally aware approach to education. Recognized with the OSSTF District 12 Exceptional Teacher Award (2017), Wende is also a certified weightlifting coach with CFES, offering personalized training focused on safe, effective technique. A lifelong drummer—playing since age 3—she performs with multiple bands and facilitates rhythm-based workshops for women’s shelters and correctional facilities. At SoundPlay Works™, Wende’s facilitation weaves drumming, sound, and trauma-informed practice into powerful experiences that uplift youth, foster body-awareness, and build confident, regulated learners through rhythm and resonance.

Akiiraa Wolfsong (she/her) is a gifted vocalist and improvisational sound facilitator with SoundPlay Works™, where she brings her intuitive voice and presence to collaborative, heart-centered experiences. Her artistry blends spontaneity, deep listening, and soulful resonance, creating immersive soundscapes that invite connection and transformation. Beyond her work with SoundPlay Works™, Akiiraa is a devoted community ceremonialist, offering her time and energy to guide gatherings that honour spirit, culture, and collective healing. She is dedicated to building community serving on committees such as the Activities, Logistics, and Community Experience Teams. Akiiraa is also the founder of WolfSong Sound Sanctuary, a sacred space where she shares, with deep gratitude and reverence, the ancient teachings and land-based lineages that shape her transformational practice, inviting all who enter to remember their own innate harmony.
SoundPlay Works™ recommends attending Rooted in Sound Academy of Canada, founded by the Sound Journey Store in Lincoln, Ontario. As one of Canada’s premier providers of comprehensive sound practitioner education, the Academy offers both a Foundational Program and an Advanced Diploma. Upon completion, graduates may apply for certification with the International Association of Sound Therapists.
SoundPlay Works™ facilitators and franchise partners are encouraged to receive this exceptional, evidence-informed training in the art and science of sound wellness journeys and therapeutic practices. The program equips facilitators with the professional skills, creative tools, and personal growth practices needed to guide transformative, resonant presentations with confidence, integrity, and heart.
